Casa Azahara your Valencian Villa in Macastre, Spain, is a splendid retreat for those looking to escape to nature without sacrificing comfort.
With its beautiful surroundings, ample space and excellent amenities, it promises a holiday experience that combines relaxation with the possibility of adventure.
Our Story
The Beginning
We purchcased the Villa in early 2005 with the intent of moving to Spain. We wanted to restore the house, which at that time was in a sad condition and was just waiting for love and attention.
During the next number or years we completely renovated the house, gardens, pool and the old garage and chicken coop.
This meant living in a construction site but it was great fun.
First Renovations 2005 to 2007
Welcome to Your Valencian Escape
Casa Azahara, Your Valencian Villa has been running for a few years now. We are continuously trying to add new things, sometimes small sometimes large. Our main objective is to give you the best holiday we are able to.
We have worked hard repaving the garden, pool area and planting new plants.
The swimming pool was re-grouted in February 2024 (this was not a fun job for me), and we have extended the seating area below the pool terrace which we now call ¨the Rancho¨.

Amazing house to spend a few quiet days, incredible views and a host who was attentive to everything, thanks to Manolo for his predisposition to everything, the house has all the comforts and rules in all the rooms that give a plus of equipment.

The most amazing weekend! We were 17 people and had the most amazing time. The house is exactly as described and like the pictures. The views are incredible!! Amazing patio views and the views from the pool make you never want to leave. The beds are comfy and the house is very clean, and has all of the basics you need and more. The host Russel is very kind, responsive and ensures a great stay. You can also request to have paella made for a small extra fee - WORTH IT!! The paella was amazing. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be staying here again!

The house is very nice, it has a beautiful view, a nice pool, barbecue area and it is very well equipped.
We chose this house to have a family reunion. We came from different parts of Spain, the USA and Venezuela. It was definitely a great decision.
Manolo, the person in charge of the house, was very attentive and always willing to help.
Russel, the owner, left us some welcome gifts such as a couple of bottles of wine and other things. We are sure that we will return.

This home is a haven of peace and quiet.
The house is very large and the outdoor area is very enjoyable. The garden is lovely and the pool has amazing views.
In addition, Manolo makes sure you have nothing to do with it. If you want a paella or some potato tortillas, he makes them for you...
We had a full weekend with friends and we loved it. There was a problem outside the property and both Russel and Manolo showed a lot of initiative to resolve it and collaborate.
